Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy Celebrates Excellent Achievements Across All Three Colleges
This year, Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy is celebrating the exceptional achievements of pupils across Ashdown, Delamere, and Sherwood Colleges. The excellent results have provided students with the foundation needed for the next steps in their academic journey, whether they continue at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy in Woolf College or move on to new challenges at Sixth Form College.
The academy is pleased to report that ten subjects have achieved an average grade of 5 and above, reflecting the dedication and hard work of both pupils and staff. These subjects include biology, chemistry, religious education, physics, photography, media studies, music, art & design, design & technology, and psychology. Additionally, seven subjects have shown significant improvement on last year’s results, particularly in design & technology, business studies, media studies, biology, geography, physics, and photography.
Ashdown College Achievements
- Isabella excelled with a grade 8-8 in combined science, a grade 8 in mathematics, a grade 7 in English language, and grade 6s in English literature, history, and Spanish;
- Cerys matched these impressive results with a grade 8-7 in combined science, a grade 8 in mathematics, a grade 7 in English language, and grade 6s in English literature, history, and Spanish;
- Anabelle achieved grade 8s in English literature and biology, grade 7s in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, and grade 6s in English language and Spanish.
Delamere College Achievements:
- Lily demonstrated academic excellence with grade 9s in English language, English literature, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, and RE, as well as a grade 8 in Spanish;
- Maria secured grade 9s in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and Spanish, along with grade 8s in English language, English literature, and history;
- Samuel achieved a grade 9-9 in combined science, grade 9s in English literature, mathematics, and sociology, grade 8s in English language and history, and a grade 7 in Spanish.
Sherwood College Achievements:
- Adrian excelled with a grade 9-9 in combined science, grade 8s in English language and English literature, and grade 7s in mathematics, history, and Spanish;
- Orest achieved a grade 9-9 in combined science, a grade 9 in mathematics, a grade 7 in English language, and grade 6s in English literature, history, and Spanish;
- Viktoria secured a grade 9 in mathematics, grade 8s in English language and biology, grade 7s in English literature, chemistry, physics, and history, and a grade 6 in computer science.
