At Leigh Stationers’ Academy, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing, development and success of every student. Alongside high expectations for learning, we recognise that young people and families sometimes benefit from clear guidance and practical strategies to help navigate the challenges that can arise during adolescence and school life.
This section of the website brings together a range of guidance and resources for both parents/carers and students. The materials cover areas such as wellbeing, relationships, study habits, online safety and additional learning needs. Each guide has been designed to provide accessible information, practical advice and signposting to further support where appropriate.
The resources complement the wider pastoral support available through the Academy, including our college structure, pastoral teams and SEND provision. By bringing these materials together in one place, we aim to make it easier for families and students to access reliable information and support when it is needed.
Many of the experiences addressed in these guides are a normal part of growing up. Having access to clear information can help families feel more confident in supporting their child, while also helping students develop the resilience, independence and self-awareness needed to thrive both in and beyond school.
