Latest Newsletter

Dear Leigh Stationers’ Academy Community,

It’s remarkable just how much we’ve achieved in such a short space of time. Module 5 – only four weeks and three days long – has been filled with enrichment, trips, key events, and the start of summer examinations. As I write this, our Year 11 and 13 pupils are gathered in the quad, signing shirts and celebrating with friends and staff – a moment of well-earned joy and reflection. I’ve been impressed by their maturity, determination, and focus, and I look forward to celebrating their achievements in the summer.

Across the academy, this final week of the module has brought celebration and pride. From our Silverstone-themed attendance competition to our college celebration assemblies, it’s been a fitting end to a fast-paced term. Our Year 7 handball team also finished third in a competitive trust-wide tournament—another reminder of the energy and enthusiasm our pupils bring to all they do. As we head into the half-term break, please note that further information on May half-term revision sessions, the full Year 11 and 13 schedule for the first week of Module 6, and a list of key dates for your diary can all be found below.

Wishing all our families a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday, 2 June.

Best wishes,
Mr Joseph Sparks | Principal, Leigh Stationers’ Academy

The results will also help inform future planning for the wider academy community. Thank you in advance for your time and continued support. A link to the survey can be found here.
