Dear Leigh Stationers’ Academy Community,
As we come to the end of a remarkable first module at Leigh Stationers’ Academy, it is clear that the strength of our community continues to shine through in everything we do. This week has been a perfect example of our core values – Leadership, Scholarship and Achievement. From charitable events to outstanding student achievements, our staff and students have engaged in activities that showcase not only academic excellence but also a deep sense of responsibility to the wider community.
We were proud to support two important causes, with the success of the Macmillan Afternoon Tea and Wear It Pink Day, showing our commitment to making a positive impact. Equally impressive were the achievements of our students in academic growth, leadership, and extracurricular activities. The recognition of student accomplishments in Woolf and Equiano Colleges, alongside the success of our sports teams, reflects the spirit of determination and teamwork that defines our academy.
As we move forward into the next module, I am confident that we will continue to build on these successes, fostering both academic and personal growth across all areas of academy life. Thank you to all who have contributed to another outstanding week at Leigh Stationers’ Academy.
We wish our parents, carers, and pupils a relaxing, restful, and rejuvenating half-term break and look forward to welcoming pupils back for the start of module two on Tuesday, 5 November 2024. A full list of term dates can be found here.
Best wishes,
Mr Joseph Sparks | Principal, Leigh Stationers’ Academy
