Woolf College Celebrates Success in End-of-Module Assembly

Woolf College marked the end of another successful module with a celebratory assembly on Monday 19th May 2025 recognising student achievements in attendance, attitude to learning and leadership.

Outstanding Attendance Achievements

Woolf pupils demonstrated a strong commitment to attendance, with 12WOO2 leading the way in their respective year 12 tutor groups.

Woolf College Leadership Awards

The assembly also celebrated students who embodied key IB Learner Profile attributes. Teachers from Woolf College recognised students for characteristics such as being principled, reflective, and caring.

  • Oliver C (12WOO3) nominated by Mr Roche: Oliver has settled well into his T-Level and excelled. His curiosity, kindness, and hardworking nature set him apart. He’s destined for success not only academically, but in life overall.
  • Ethan D (12WOO3) nominated by Mr Duran: Ethan is a polite, dedicated, and hardworking student who always greets others warmly. His excellent attendance and positive presence make him a valued member of the sixth form.
  • Ruby S (12WOO2) nominated by Ms Hysenaj: Ruby excels in Psychology with critical thinking and insightful contributions. She is dedicated, kind, and respected by peers—an outstanding student and a valued member of the sixth form.
  • Summer P (12WOO3) nominated by Ms Murphy: Summer works hard in Sociology and Psychology, consistently achieving high results. Her resilience, positivity, and kindness make her a valued and respectful sixth form student.
  • Brooke A (12WOO7) nominated by Ms Francis: Brooke is polite, cheerful, and consistently positive. She’s a perfect role model in the sixth form, and it’s a pleasure having her in Woolf for the remainder of Year 12 and beyond.
  • Emma G (12WOO1) nominated by Mr Sandhu: Emma displays professionalism through punctuality and smart attire. She is polite, hardworking, and a dedicated contributor to form life, setting high standards for herself and others.
  • Oliver B (12WOO2) nominated by Ms Twarowska: Oliver is always punctual, respectful, and hardworking. His consistent positivity and reliability make him a strong role model and an asset to the sixth form community.
  • Jack C (12WOO3) nominated by Ms Perez: Jack arrives with a great attitude, engages actively in discussions, and maintains 96% attendance. He’s respectful, positive, and a credit to the Stationers’ community.
  • Nancy G (12WOO5) nominated by Mr Mafrici: Nancy is punctual, respectful, and hardworking. Her dedication creates a positive learning environment and demonstrates her consistent commitment to success.
  • Chelsea V E (12WOO6) nominated by Ms Thomas: Chelsea is a committed and respectful student who attends punctually and shows a keen attitude toward her A-Level studies, always striving to do well.
  • Lexi C S (12WOO7) nominated by Ms Panicker: Lexi listens attentively and speaks respectfully. She shows care for others’ feelings, expresses herself clearly, and is always polite and considerate.

Woolf Head of College Award

The Head of College Award recognises a pupil who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, positive behaviour, and contribution to their college community. This term, the award goes to Isabel M for her excellent leadership skills. Ms Collier, Head of Woolf College, praised Isabel’s achievements, saying:

Isabel has shown great determination and leadership skills through her active participation in the sixth form leadership team. She organised peer mentoring sessions for sixth form students to support other year groups as well taking an active role in a variety of other leadership opportunities across the Academy.
