Mr Sparks, Principal of Leigh Stationers’ Academy, said:
“These are truly historic results for Leigh Stationers’ Academy. To set ourselves the ambitious target of returning to an Attainment 8 of 50+ and then surpass it with a record 51.42 is a remarkable achievement. I am incredibly proud of our students, whose determination and resilience have been outstanding, and of our staff, whose high expectations have made this possible. The fact that all groups of students improved on last year, and that we achieved record entries and outcomes in the EBacc, shows the strength of our curriculum and the power of our community working together. These results – our first under the Leigh Stationers’ Academy name – are the best in the academy’s history and set a strong foundation for even greater success in the years ahead.”
