This week, we welcomed an outstanding turnout of over 95% at our Year 7 Parents’ Evening, where families had the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress and next steps. Our mock examinations for Years 11 and 13 have been running smoothly, with students demonstrating exceptional focus and determination, supported by warm-up sessions and revision resources. In addition, National Careers Week has inspired students across Years 7-10 and Year 12 to explore exciting career pathways linked to their subjects, broadening their aspirations for the future.
Looking ahead, the Year 9 Parents’ Evening is approaching on Wednesday, 19 March, offering another valuable opportunity to meet with subject teachers. Year 11 students will be receiving further details about Easter intervention sessions, designed to support their final exam preparations. We are also thrilled to launch the LSA Ski Trip 2026, providing students with an incredible opportunity to experience skiing in La Plagne, France. Finally, as we continue to strengthen our careers programme, we are inviting parents and carers to share their professional experiences with students through our Careers Across the Curriculum initiative. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to another productive and successful week at Leigh Stationers’ Academy.
Best wishes,
