WELCOME FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is a privilege to welcome you to Leigh Stationers’ Academy – a community where no student is left behind.

As Principal, I am proud to lead a school that is inclusive, ambitious, and built on strong relationships. At the heart of everything we do is a simple yet powerful belief: every young person should feel known, valued, and supported in their pursuit of success – academically, socially, and personally. If we get this right – if we live out this belief in every classroom, every interaction, every day – then we will achieve our vision of being a community where no student is left behind.

We are proud to be part of the Leigh Academies Trust and to be sponsored by The Stationers’ Company, one of the historic livery companies of the City of London. These partnerships open up exceptional opportunities for our students and support our mission.

Our distinctive college model ensures that every student is part of a smaller, supportive community within the school. Whether they belong to Angelou, Caxton, Hansard, Equiano (our Local Authority Resourced Provision) or Woolf College (our Sixth Form), every student is known well by staff and cared for as an individual. This structure allows us to combine the scale of a large academy with the personal touch of a smaller school.

We are also an IB World School, and our curriculum is shaped by the principles of the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile. We want our students to leave us not only with excellent qualifications, but also as confident, compassionate and internationally minded young people, ready to make a difference.

Our commitment is threefold:

  • Exceptional learning in every lesson, every day
  • High expectations and outstanding pastoral care in a respectful, disruption-free environment
  • Outstanding outcomes and high-quality destinations for every student

I look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure that every student is known, valued, and supported – and that no child is left behind at Leigh Stationers’ Academy.
