Dear Leigh Stationers’ Academy Community,
Today marks the official end of public examinations for our Year 11 and 13 students; I want to take a moment to express just how proud we are of this exceptional cohort. Before each exam, pupils have lined up calmly outside the exam hall to receive final hints and tips from our Directors of Learning, and, in a moving show of appreciation, they’ve often responded with spontaneous applause for their teachers. These small but powerful moments reflect the strength of the relationships that have developed between staff and students over the years. That shared trust and mutual respect has helped our pupils stay focused, motivated and resilient throughout the exam season. We now look forward to celebrating with our Year 11s in style at their end-of-year Prom — a fitting way to mark their journey and everything they’ve achieved.
Beyond the examinations, this has been another eventful week across the academy. From individual sporting success at the London Schools Championships to rehearsals for our Summer Concert and preparations for the Woolf College Taster Day, our students continue to demonstrate leadership, scholarship and achievement in all they do. As the summer term progresses, there is much to be proud of and much still to look forward to.
Best wishes,
Mr Joseph Sparks | Principal, Leigh Stationers’ Academy
